Four KNUST Optometry Students Wins the Optical Foundation's Frans Oosterhof Conference Award
Four (4) optometry students receive the Frans Oosterhof Conference Award to participate in the 2021 virtual conference and exhibition of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA).
An individual sum of three hundred and fifty British pounds apportioned to cater for awardees' meeting registration. The award winners are Isaiah Osei Duah Junior, Wendy Ofori-Asare, Lynette Delali Amematekpor, and Frimpong Isaac.
The Frans Oosterhof BCLA Conference award recognizes students' academic achievement, community contribution, and commitment to increasing access to eye care. The BCLA is at the forefront of organizing clinical conferences and exhibitions in the United Kingdom, focusing on contact lenses and anterior segment eye diseases. The conferences attract over one thousand local and internationally recognized contact lens professionals and students.
