Samson Darrah Receives Financial Aid to Attend IFoRE '23
Samson Darrah, a final year student in the Department of Optometry and Visual Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has secured financial support from Sigma Xi to attend the forthcoming International Forum on Research Excellence Conference in Long Beach, California, USA.
The second annual International Forum on Research Excellence (IFoRE) is set to be held from November 10 to 12, 2023, at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Hotel and Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. This year's IFoRE, themed "Visions of Ethical Research," is expected to draw a diverse audience of scientists, engineers, research and technology professionals, government and academic administrators, postdocs, graduate students, undergraduates, high school students, and science enthusiasts from around the world. The event aims to foster discussions and showcase excellence in the realm of research.
Samson will be presenting his research titled "Conjunctival flora and antibiotic sensitivity patterns in a Ghanaian diabetic population" during the conference.
