The Edwenase Rehabilitation Centre was established in 1958 to provide vocational training for individuals with visual and hearing impairments, as well as those who suffer from mobility or learning difficulties.
The project garnered resounding success, with more than 100 individuals at the centre benefitting from comprehensive eye examinations. The Principal of the Edwenase Rehabilitation Centre conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated students and the gracious donors, whose unwavering support was instrumental in materializing the project.
The Department of Optometry and Visual Science extends its appreciation to Dr. Pascal Michel Tchiakpe for taking time off his busy schedules to support the students on this life-changing outreach.
