Three students from the Department of Optometry and Visual Science at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have secured a highly competitive fellowship to participate in the LEAD program.  Miss Greatness Akomea, Miss Ruby Etornam Adikah, and Miss Angela Asare will be among 50 young Christian leaders from Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cameroon, and Rwanda who will participate in the fully sponsored 6-week career and leadership program.

The LEAD program, organized by Studentshubgh and MeetMentors, aims to help young Christians balance their spiritual growth with career and academic advancement. Participants will be mentored and trained in purpose and vision, career planning and development, and faith and spiritual growth, among other modules.

The program provides a holistic approach to leadership development and will enable participants to connect with other young Christian leaders from across Africa. We wish Greatness, Ruby and Angela as well as the other fellows all the best in their journey through the LEAD program, and we look forward to seeing the incredible things they will achieve through this opportunity.
